Overview. Enjoy fine white sand beaches lined with coconut trees at El Nido Miniloc Island Resort. Situated in Palawan, the fastest and most direct way to get to El Nido is from Manila. Island Transvoyager Inc. operates daily flights to El Nido for El Nido Resorts using a 19-seater Dornier 228 aircraft. The flight takes a maximum of one hour and thirty minutes and lands directly at the El Nido Airport. Flight reservations may be made through El Nido Resorts.

2. Carabao Beach Resorts in Carabao Island

Village Reef - A rich coral garden on a gentle slope from 23 to 33 feet is followed by a drop-off down to sand at 80 feet. The drop-off itself runs north to south for 660 ft.

Tinap-an Beach – Its powdery white sands and clear waters complement the breathtaking view of cliffs and a labyrinth of caves, and crystal-clear seawater where one can see through its rich coral reserves.

Ngiriton Cave – If you are looking for adventure, Ngiriton cave is the place to go. It’s a tunnel-like structure on top of a hill surrounded by a forest at Sitio Lindero. At the mouth of the cave is a big white rock. It used to be inhabited by thousands of bats whose manure, locals got and used as fertilizers. At present, only few bats converge at the cave, but the cave still holds some mystery.

3. Cocobana Beach Resort in Malapascua

Overview. Cocobana Beach Resort is the first resort in the island of Malapascua. The name Cocobana was inspired by the four words Corals, Coconuts, Bananas, and Cabanas.

Malapascua Island is located in the northernmost part of Cebu, in the town of Medellin. A short ferry ride from the port of Maya will bring you to its magnificent powdery white sand beaches.

4. Pansukian Tropical Resort in Siargao Island

Overview. The serene and peaceful island of Siargao

Getting there. The resort is located in the island of Siargao. For international guests, the best way to get to the island is via Cebu. For local tourists, Sea Air is flying Cebu-Siargao twice a week, Mondays and Fridays.

Accommodation. Pansukian has three room categories: the superior tropical villa, the tropical villa, and the garden cottage. All have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and queen-sized beds. The superior and tropical villas are enclosed in private gardens, have huge verandas and rooms, mini-refrigerators, and spacious bathrooms with hot water.

The main difference between the superior villa and the tropical villa is that the former has a bathtub and a separate enclosure for the toilet. The garden cottages are much smaller than the villas. 5. Dos Palmas Island Resort
